Mike and I have known each other for years through our travels in Italy. We kept running into each other in the same mills, workshops, and small family factories, usually alongside a shared circle of friends. Over time, those encounters turned into proper conversations, often over a few negronis. That is usually how things start in this industry. You get to know people, you understand how they think, and eventually you realise whether it makes sense to do something together.
