Men of generations past would judge a man’s character by their shoes, they believed that men with well kept shoes of high quality had their priorities in line. The Maker, The Materials & The Construction
Our new producer is a relatively small bespoke shoemaker that had the capacity to outfit us with all the basics a man could need.
All of our loafers and oxfords are Goodyear welted with calfskin from Bonaudo in Milan or Suede from Stead in Leeds. The insole is crafted from vegetable-tanned leather and the outsole is made by Vibram. This may sound like a lot of name dropping, but gentlemen who know their shoes are looking for this information. For the more nerdy among us, the shank is of steel, the footbed filling is sheet cork, and the heel stack is block wood with a leather upper.
Now that we have that out of the way, we have tried to create a capsule collection that works for every man and nearly every occasion. For the snappier gents among us, our tassel loafers in black, brown, or suede provide that little extra moxie that sets them apart from the crowd, while still leaning in to a timeless dignity.
