    Staff Favourites - Robin

Having lived on the east side of Oslo for almost ten years, Fuglen has become a much-loved spot that I keep coming back to. For years, I passed it every morning on my way to work, and I can still remember the smell of freshly roasted coffee drifting down the street.

Over the years, Oslo has developed into a fantastic city for speciality coffee, and Fuglen remains one of my personal favourites. It has a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and, perhaps most importantly, they always seem to be playing great music.

Speaking of music, Fuglen is much more than a coffee shop. Several times a year, they host intimate live music sessions featuring some seriously talented musicians. On other evenings, guests are invited to bring their own vinyl records and take over the turntables.

And if you're in the mood for something other than coffee, they also make excellent cocktails. Or, of course, you can never go wrong with a cold beer.

Here's a little tip for fellow pizza lovers: ZZ Pizza is right next door, and you're welcome to bring your pizza over to Fuglen and enjoy the best of both worlds.

Oslo's pizza scene has really taken off in recent years, and ZZ is easily one of my top three favourites in the city.

Speaking of favourites, I'm wearing a few of mine from this autumn's collection.

Autumn in Norway brings its fair share of chilly days, and corduroy is a fabric I've always associated with the season. A fabric like wearing a hug. One of the things I love most about a corduroy suit is its versatility and the many ways you can style it.

Today, I've dressed it down with a denim shirt for a more relaxed, slightly Western-inspired look. When the temperature drops, you can layer it with a roll-neck or a Shetland wool polo. For a dressier approach, it works just as well with a button-down Oxford shirt and a polka dotted knitted tie.
The suit also pairs perfectly with one of my absolute favourite shoes to wear before snow takes over the streets of Oslo: a pair of brown suede tassel loafers. In my opinion, they're an essential addition to any well-rounded shoe rotation.

And for our international crowd, this lovely coffee shop has also expanded beyond Norway, and I've been fortunate enough to visit their two other locations in Tokyo and Seoul. Both are well worth a visit if you ever find yourself in either city.
