Two Worlds, One Craft
At Cavour we pride ourselves in our varied interests. Most of my colleagues and I are obsessively interested in sports, with golf probably being the sport which is most popular and most akin to the tailoring world. Precision, tempo, and detail oriented. We also believe that there has been a period where golf attire has strayed too far from its origins and focused on the wrong fit and design. Golf has always been at the forefront of combining sport and classic style.
Therefore, we have created the Cavour golf collection. Our focus has been on combining the tailoring we are known for with the mobility and practicality of golf attire.

Nostalgia, Tailored
Creating golf attire inspired by classic golf outfits and from the nostalgia of the 90s while still being relevant for the contemporary player. Being able to wear an outfit straight from the course to the clubhouse with a club jacket over. A relaxed yet tailored fit and with breathable fabrics, ensures mobility without sacrificing style or formality. Polos emphasizing fit and fabric rather than showcasing your favorite beverage.
Inspirations when creating this collection have been Tiger Woods A.M 94´win, Phil Mickelson at the 96´ Phoenix Open, as well as other icons of the game such as Tom Watson and Corey Pavin. Reimagining classics such as polos with block stripes and subtle patterns, pleated trousers and a fuller cut and the iconic windbreakers.

Beyond the 18th
Golf has always been a gentlemen's game with the rituals and off-course aspects surrounding the 18 holes of play still important. This is why when creating our collection, we have focused on pieces that can be worn both on the course and at the clubhouse. Polos with collars that fit underneath a club jacket, trousers which work with tailoring. Functional and wearable pieces which work for a full day on the course.
Sun, Bogeys & Good Company
For the lookbook our founder Sebastian and a group of his friends travelled to Turkey with its plethora of golf courses dotting the coast. They travelled to Sueno Hotels Golf Belek, with sunshine and endless possibilities. Golf bags were filled with everything needed for a great round, plus some liquid swing lubricants. How it ended up going for them on the course I think varies vastly, but having spoken to them it seems that they achieved the most important thing in golf and that is days filled with golf and memories together for a long time. Real people, real friends, real golf. The bogeys are forgotten at the end of the evening when the dining room is covered in laughter and the shared experience of understanding just how far off the tour all amateurs really are.
All participants were dressed in our new golf collection and were able to test firsthand how the fabric feels during hot days when the sun is shining. Breathable fabrics with a tailored fit are unbeatable during a full day of golfing with good friends.
